GENERAL SITE INFORMATION
The Opanuku Stream flow site is situated at Vintage Reserve, off Khaleel Place, from Sturges Road. Opanuku Stream drains into Henderson Creek, an arm of the Waitemata Harbour. The Opanuku Stream has a natural flow control.
The Opanuku Stream is very susceptable to significant flooding of the lower catchment, therefore high stage alarms are in place to notify of significant rising water levels.
